The world we live in is very fast paced and cutting technology and hi tech gadgets are things we all enjoy. We all look forward to the latest electronics and other hi tech toys that come out such as the Wii, Blackberry or iPhone. Besides the new computers, cell phones, and other usual electronics there are also golf gadgets, cookware and all sorts of hi tech gadgetry for just about every interest imaginable.
2009 is turning out to be a very interesting year in hi tech, full of surprises, breakthroughs in technology, and inexpensive alternatives to some of our favorite hi tech toys. There are new technologies being invented every day which draw their inspiration from yesterdays hi tech gadgets. There are also new companies coming onto the scene to challenge Apple and some of the other hi tech giants.
This January in Vegas during the Consumer Electronics Show, there were many new hi tech gadgets introduced for 2009. This show displayed a wide variety of hi tech gadgets in a broad range from wacky, fun, frivolous to utilitarian. Just about anyone would have been able to find gadgets that excited and intrigued them.
One new gadget that was quite unusual was a 3-D web cam that was introduced by Promotion and Display Technology Limited. This hi tech web cam features two lenses, which makes it look like an alien from outer space. The web cam can be mounted on your computer and will send 3-D images.
The new ThinkPad W700ds notebook PC from Lenovo looks intriguing. It comes with two screens and you can adjust the second screen similar to how you would adjust a rear view mirror on a car. This gives you some extra space when you are working on certain applications or with photos that could overwhelm the main screen on a notebook.
Lenovo also unveiled their first integrated all-in-one desktop PC which comes with a remote control for gamers. It can be used in a similar way to controllers for the Nintendo Wii. It has a remote which can be used like a virtual tennis racket and other types of moving objects.
MSI, a Taipei company, had their new X-Slim Series X320 notebook on display that is only .77 inches thick. This measurement is quite close to Apple’s Macbook Air. The difference is that the MSI notebook is much less expensive at $700 to $1000 with the Air costing at least $1,799.
Well there is our recap of some of the more interesting hi tech gadgets in Vegas this year. As you can see there are some exciting new developments out in the hi tech world. Innovative new products and cheaper alternatives to some of our favorites are making 2009 an exciting year for new hi tech gadgets.
