In recent years we’ve heard more about energy efficiency than ever. Creating a strong public awareness has led to innovation in products as well as production. It has also led to homes that are less wasteful. Skeptics question whether or not green products are really about the environment or if it is just a very smart marketing ploy. Since public awareness has peaked, so have the available products. Concerns regarding energy have been present for a very long time, and their 30 year resurgence has led to better production.

Everything from front load washers and dryers and dish washers that use less water have flooded local appliance and department stores over the past year. Add a green tag that says “Energy Star Rated” and consumers line up to buy these energy saving appliances.
Wind can be an awesome force of nature, just ask anyone who has been in a tornado or powerful hurricane. We can harness this wind for the use of generating electricity for our world. When the sun shines it heats the earth, but since the earth is made of different materials and is of differing heights and valleys it heats unevenly, especially over land and water.
Wind power electricity is generated on wind farms scattered across the pastoral lands of the United States. In a time when increasing dependence on foreign oil is wreaking havoc on politics as usual, wind power is gaining more attention for its promise of energy independence.
There are quite a few reasons why you might think about switching to low energy lighting, the main ones being: saving significant money; helping combat global warming; and because you don’t actually have much choice in the matter thanks to global legislation to ban the incandescent light bulb.
There are many reasons to start moving to low energy light bulbs, not the least being that you can save a great deal of money, you can genuinely help fight against global warming, and at the end of the day you don’t have a choice since legislation to ban incandescent bulbs is beginning to really take effect.
Adding a source of alternative energy to your family’s energy solutions is good for the environment, your wallet and makes a statement of your commitment to environmental progress. Wind power systems can cut your power bill and create awareness in your community.
Wind power is the quickly becoming the largest renewable energy platform in the world. You might see these wind turbine generators popping up especially in rural areas. This is a great resource that needs to be tapped into by more companies and individuals at least for partial power use. Wind turbine electricity is very economical, and earth friendly.
Most electricity is generated from burning fossil fuels but there are alternative electricity sources available. The most popular electricity source is from burning coal, 50% or electricity production, the nuclear power, 20% production, natural gas, 18% production, hydroelectric, 6.5% production, petroleum, 3% productions and renewable energy source, 2.3% production. So of all of the energy produced only 85% comes from water, biomass, solar energy, geothermal power and wind power.
There is a selection of alternative green energy systems available. Each are deemed renewable and can produce electricity. However, they are not all equal in their impact on the environment. Some are considered more sustainable than others. Commentators have divided the various options into two types. Solar energy, wind energy and hydro energy form one group while so called ‘earthly sources’ like biofuels and geothermal energy, constitute the second group.

Today I read an article from a magazine. I can’t remember the magazine’s name, but the article is called ‘It’s time to go Green’. Obviously, it talks about that we should be more environmentally friendly in order to save Mother Earth.
Interest in alternative electric energy is growing steadily as more people become concerned about global warming. Alternative electric energy solutions are an attempt to reduce fossil fuel consumption and thus preserve the earth’s natural resources.
One of the first people of notable importance to bring energy conservation was former American President Jimmy Carter in 1977 during the oil crisis. He instructed all Americans to turn their thermostats down to try to conserve heating energy.

Wind is created by air in motion. It is caused by the uneven heating of the earth’s environment by the sun. Because the earth’s environment is made of several types of materials such as land and water, as well as the things that make up these surfaces, they absorb the sun’s heat at differing rates.
