There is a difference in wanting to be successful and actually believing you can be successful. Many people want to find success in life, but the question is do they truly believe that they can do it? If you do not truly believe that you can be successful then the chances are it will not happen for you. Belief is the major factor in taking a dream and turning it into a reality. While I was researching the start of my own home based business I came across several of the internet gurus who had actually reached rock bottom. Although they were buried in debt and working everyday to get out they all truly believed that given the chance and the right program they could be as successful as anyone else on the internet.
I would like to share some of the things I found they all had in common that led to their success. Each one of them had a dream of where they wanted to go in life but as I already mentioned they had a belief that they could get there. It wasn’t important to them that the system might tell them they couldn’t make it. The fact that friends and relatives laughed at them and sometimes even called them crazy didn’t phase them. They didn’t let it bother them that they said they could never make it. They put all the doomsayers aside and held to the belief that they could do it. They truly believed that if someone else could be successful on the internet that they had every chance too. I have run into those kinds of folks in my quest for a home based business but I have determined myself to believe and I have set my dream.
Once they had their dream defined their next step was to become totally focused on it. Their focus became so determined that everything they did was about that dream. Put in another way they had put the blinders on. They didn’t allow any distractions get them off their course. They set them all aside. Their sites were totally focused on that dream. Every effort on their part revolved around their dream. They were not going to be distracted and nothing was going to get their attention away from their goal. Set yourself some goals and don’t be afraid to dream big. No matter how far fetched your goals may seem set your sites to reach them and make your home based business a reality.
Their next decision was to choose to live their lives as if they were already successful. They lived as if they had already reached their goal. As if they had already achieved their dream. If they were at work they were able to visualize what it was going to be like once their dream was a reality. Backing out of the garage they were able to visualize it as if they were doing it from their dream home. When they were out on the road they were able to see it as if they were driving down that same road in their dream car. Basically they were doing what is called a practice run so that they would be prepared for when it did happen. What your mind believes your person can achieve. Success is possible with a home based business.
In a home based business success can be defined as sets of steps arranged to help you reach it. First, you have to be absolutely sure that you believe that you can be successful. Second, you want to dream and not be afraid to dream big. Third, think about and set yourself some goals and don’t worry about what friends and family may think of them. It doesn’t matter how much they laugh if you just believe in yourself. Let them call you crazy. Fourth, you want to become so focused on your dream that it becomes the only thing that matters. Let everything you do revolve around it. Fifth, go ahead and start living that life of success as if it has already happened. The choice is yours. Success or status quo. Just be sure and ask yourself where you will be five years from now. If you do not like your answer you can always do what I did. Choose success and a program that will take you down that road.
